眷村嘉年華
A Glowing Star multi-creator booth in Kaohsiung bringing four different character and product languages into a neighbourhood festival setting.
The selection included Rabitt Planet, MIJI WORLD, Pretty Useless Club and work by Horse Lin / Muse.
The audience mixed families, young visitors and people discovering the creators as part of a wider cultural day out.
For Glowing Star, it was another test of how independent character work can become approachable without losing the creator's original personality.
The setting
眷村嘉年華 took place in Kaohsiung's historic Huangpu New Village, using an outdoor festival format where creative products, local culture and everyday visitors shared the same space.

Through Glowing Star's eyes
A creator's work changes when it leaves the white walls of a show and enters a place with its own history and community. We used a mixed creator selection here because we wanted people to browse naturally, then discover that each object belonged to a much larger creative world.
The creators we brought
Rabitt Planet
Original Character & Soft Vinyl
Brought RABITT into a family-friendly cultural setting, giving new audiences an accessible first encounter with the character world.

MIJI WORLD
Toy & Character Design
Combined sculptural character work with smaller goods, giving visitors more than one way to enter the Sobi-kun world.
Pretty Useless Club
Toy, Product & Character Design
Introduced a more humorous product-design perspective alongside the collectible artists in the Glowing Star selection.
