Glowing Star operated a multi-IP exhibition presence at Thailand Toy Expo, bringing independent Asian creator work into one of Bangkok's major art-toy and collectibles gatherings.
Willstudio was the confirmed creator partner at the centre of the Glowing Star presentation.
Glowing Star coordinated creator allocation, cross-border logistics, display planning and on-site operations.
Bangkok gave us a valuable opportunity to introduce creator stories to collectors outside their home markets and observe how different IP worlds travel.
The setting
Thailand Toy Expo brings together art toys, designer toys, figures, character brands, independent artists and collectors at CentralWorld in Bangkok. The 2026 edition gathered creators and brands from multiple countries around the theme of toys as stories, not simply objects.

Through Glowing Star's eyes
For us, the value of Thailand Toy Expo was not just international distribution. We wanted each creator to remain recognisable inside a very large collective event. That meant giving their work enough visual space, explaining the character world clearly and taking care of the operational work that often makes overseas participation difficult for an independent artist.
