Merodi's Afternoon Tea
A creator-focused exhibition built around Willstudio's Merodi, bringing the character into a slower, more intimate setting through artwork, figures, objects and a themed visitor experience.
Glowing Star worked with Willstudio and the venue to shape the exhibition experience around the Merodi character world.
The programme included a VIP day, a creator signing session and a mix of original artwork, collectible figures and accessible character goods.
Rather than placing Merodi inside a large convention, the exhibition let visitors spend more time with one creator and one character world.
The setting
Merodi's Afternoon Tea was not a conventional fair. It was a dedicated creator exhibition inside a neighbourhood retail and café setting, allowing the character world to unfold through a more personal and everyday experience.

Through Glowing Star's eyes
We wanted to see what happens when a character is given space rather than just shelf space. Merodi could appear as drawings, figures, small objects and part of the physical environment, giving visitors several ways to understand the creator before deciding whether to collect anything.

Character Art & Collectibles
Merodi moved beyond a single collectible format and became the centre of a small physical world, combining original art, figures and everyday objects into one creator-led experience.
